BUILDING OF MOSQUES TO SERVE AS COMMUNITY PLACES FOR PRAYER

Community members are excited about the mosque and the opportunities it brings for inclusivity. This initiative will foster belonging and encourage participation in the neighborhood.

Community members gathered together to celebrate the grand opening of the mosque, highlighting the importance of unity, faith, and inclusion in our diverse community.

With the generous support from Emirates Red Crescent, Aliwa Education and Community Development has committed itself to building mosques over the years within various indigenous communities. This particular mosque was built in Busaana subcounty in Kayunga District. We truly appreciate their assistance.

CONSTRUCTION OF A BOREHOLE TO PROVIDE CLEAN WATER TO THE VULNERABLE

Aliwa Education and Community Development focuses on delivering clean water to at-risk communities. We successfully constructed a borehole in Kamuli District and handed it over to the local residents.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Emirates Red Crescent for their financial assistance, which made it possible for us to successfully complete this project.

SUPPORTING WOMEN’S ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP

We are proud to support women empowerment in Jinja town by helping women start small businesses that provide a sustainable source of income. Recently, we assisted a local woman with financial support to meet her basic needs and begin her journey toward economic independence.

This initiative was made possible through the generous support of the Emirates Red Crescent, and we remain grateful for their continued commitment to improving lives and creating opportunities for vulnerable communities.
