CONSTRUCTION OF A BOREHOLE TO ENHANCE WATER ACCESS IN THE COMMUNITY

We constructed a borehole in Namwendwa, Kamuli District with generous support from Emirates Red Crescent. This initiative has significantly improved access to clean and safe drinking water for the local community, enhancing the quality of life for many families. The project not only alleviates the burden of water scarcity but also contributes to better health outcomes, as clean water is crucial in preventing waterborne diseases. The community has expressed immense gratitude for this support, which has made a transformative impact on their daily lives, allowing children to spend more time in school and less time fetching water. Overall, this collaboration showcases the power of partnerships in addressing critical issues within rural areas.

PROVISION OF CLOTHING TO VULNERABLE CHILDREN.

We believe that every child deserves dignity, comfort, and opportunity to thrive at Aliwa Education and Community Development. As part of our ongoing commitment to support underserved communities, we recently distributed new clothes to children from vulnerable families with help from Emirates Red Crescent.

The majority of these children face daily challenges due to financial hardship, and access to basic necessities such as proper clothing is often limited. Through this initiative, our team ensured they received clean, well-fitting clothes to help boost their confidence, well-being, and sense of belonging. This specific group was identified in Bwaise,Kawempe Division.

DELIVERY OF FOOD PACKAGES TO UNDERPRIVILEGED FAMILIES

At Aliwa,we are committed to restoring hope and dignity within vulnerable communities. Apart of our ongoing humanitarian efforts, we recently delivered essential food packages to underprivileged communities. These food packs are designed to support households facing economic hardship and food insecurity, ensuring they have access to nutritious basic necessities.

Our team works closely with local leaders to identify the most vulnerable families and deliver assistance directly to them. This specific family was identified in Kawempe Division, Kampala District. This initiative reflects our mission to uplift the needy through practical support, compassion, and sustainable impact.

Through this project and many others, Aliwa Education and Community Development with assistance from Emirates Red Crescent continues to stand with families in need—one package, one story and one community at a time .

ESTABLISHMENT OF A BOREHOLE TO ENHANCE WATER ACCESSIBILITY FOR THE COMMUNITY

This particular borehole has been installed in Nakosi, Mukono District. We anticipate it will significantly enhance the well-being of the residents in this area.

We are pleased to share that we recently assisted different families in Mukono district with financial support to help out in basic needs. This initiative aimed to provide necessary resources to those who are facing challenges and to ensure that they can meet their daily requirements without struggling.

BUILDING OF MOSQUES TO SERVE AS COMMUNITY PLACES FOR PRAYER

Members of the community are thrilled about the mosque and the opportunities it offers for inclusivity. This initiative aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and inspire active participation in the neighborhood.

Community members gathered together to celebrate the grand opening of the mosque, highlighting the importance of unity, faith, and inclusion in our diverse community.

With the generous support from Emirates Red Crescent, Aliwa Education and Community Development has committed itself to building mosques over the years within various indigenous communities. This particular mosque was built in Busaana subcounty in Kayunga District. We truly appreciate their assistance.
