ESTABLISHMENT OF A BOREHOLE TO ENHANCE WATER ACCESSIBILITY FOR THE COMMUNITY

Thanks to the generous support from Emirates Red Crescent, Aliwa Education and Community Development has been able to provide boreholes to communities in need.

This particular borehole has been installed in Nakosi, Mukono District. We anticipate it will significantly enhance the well-being of the residents in this area.

Aliwa Education and Development, with financial help from Emirates Red Crescent, was able to provide a tank to a spotted community member in Bukakande Kamuli District. This generous contribution not only addressed a critical need for water within the community, but also demonstrated the power of collaboration between organizations and the impact they can have on local livelihoods. The timely support received from the Emirates Red Crescent has been a game changer for many families in the region, fostering a sense of hope and revitalization for the community as they work together towards sustainable development and health improvements.

DELIVERING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED

We are pleased to share that we recently assisted different families in Mukono district with financial support to help out in basic needs. This initiative aimed to provide necessary resources to those who are facing challenges and to ensure that they can meet their daily requirements without struggling.

Emirates Red Crescent provided the funds that were distributed to these families. The support was designed to cover various essential aspects such as food, healthcare, and education, which are crucial for the well-being and stability of these households.

DISTRIBUTION OF FRUIT TREES AMONG VARIOUS COMMUNITIES

Fruit trees have been made available to the residents of Mukono District by Aliwa Education and Community Development. Thanks to the kind assistance of Emirates Red Crescent. Since this project not only offers necessary resources but also strengthens the bonds between the locals who benefit from these trees, we are appreciative of their help in making it possible. By promoting sustainable farming methods and building a better future for future generations, the project seeks to enhance the local environment and increase food security for local families.

BUILDING OF MOSQUES TO SERVE AS COMMUNITY PLACES FOR PRAYER

Members of the community are thrilled about the mosque and the opportunities it offers for inclusivity. This initiative aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and inspire active participation in the neighborhood.

Community members gathered together to celebrate the grand opening of the mosque, highlighting the importance of unity, faith, and inclusion in our diverse community.

With the generous support from Emirates Red Crescent, Aliwa Education and Community Development has committed itself to building mosques over the years within various indigenous communities. This particular mosque was built in Busaana subcounty in Kayunga District. We truly appreciate their assistance.

CONSTRUCTION OF A BOREHOLE TO PROVIDE CLEAN WATER TO THE VULNERABLE

Aliwa Education and Community Development focuses on delivering clean water to at-risk communities. We successfully constructed a borehole in Kamuli District and handed it over to the local residents.

We are proud to support women empowerment in Jinja town by helping women start small businesses that provide a sustainable source of income. Recently, we assisted a local woman with financial support to meet her basic needs and begin her journey toward economic independence.
